The Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades (HKFORT) is a politically neutral, non-profit organization formed by management executives in the restaurants and related industry. In 2010, HKFORT established the “Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants and Related Trades Charitable Foundation Limited”, with an aim to assist practitioners in the F&B industry in improving their professional standards, as well as support the people in need in society. In unity there is strength, and by bringing the F&B industry together, the organization aims to accomplish its mission to give back to society. |

The Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades was established in 1999 as a non-profit organization. Its core mission is to elevate the status of the F&B industry, improve the advancement opportunities in the field, as well as provide a platform to facilitate greater exchange in the Hong Kong restaurants trade, to ultimately unite the industry together in solidarity. Since the federation’s inception, it has amassed personal and corporate members from over 1200 organizations and merchants. There are over 8000 restaurants and eateries among its members, comprising of a variety of restaurants and trades of different scales. On the premise of constantly improving the operating environment of the restaurant industry, the Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades is dedicated to bringing the industry together, to unify and consolidate their strengths. It aims to achieve its mission of fostering the development of the restaurant industry, through a concerted effort to widen the social acceptance of the industry and to improve the quality of operations and management. |
